Breaking Free from Self-Doubt: The World Needs Your Medicine
I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on why we hold back from sharing our medicine with the world. Despite our wisdom, our unique gifts, and our deep soul work, there’s a hesitation to fully step into our true power.
If you’ve been on a similar path, you know what I mean. You know that deep pain often holds the greatest potential for healing and transformation. That the medicine we create through our own healing has the power to transform others’ lives as well.
But here’s where we often get stuck:
We hesitate. We hold back from sharing the deepest parts of our soul, the truth of what we’ve been through, the wisdom we’ve gained along the way. Whether it’s your art, your healing gifts, your ability to mentor, or your shamanic wisdom—there’s a part of you that still holds back.
You tell yourself, "Once I have it all figured out, once it’s perfect, then I’ll share it." But here’s the truth: it will never feel “perfect” in the way you imagine. You may not have the words yet to express that magic inside of you. Or maybe you’re already sharing, but it feels like a mere echo of others' voices—not truly capturing the essence of your soul’s work.
What you might not realize is that this hesitation often comes from the fear of rejection—the fear of sharing your real, raw self with the world. Perhaps you believe that if you show up too authentically, if you share your struggles and your wisdom, you might be seen as unprofessional or unworthy.
The truth is, our patriarchal world has taught us that anything that isn’t “scientifically” proven or backed up is less valuable than the wisdom we know in the depths of our bodies and souls. But that’s simply not true.
We hide behind certifications, training, and titles because we feel we aren’t "enough" without them. But deep down, you know you’ve been ready to step into your true work for far longer than you realize.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about embracing the vulnerability to share your authentic medicine with the world.
I know this because I’ve been there.
For too long, I hid behind educational content that resonated with people, but lacked soul. I was so caught up in "getting it right," in avoiding judgment or upsetting others in my industry, that I lost touch with what I was truly here to share. My voice was lost behind an inner critic that kept me playing small.
That’s when I realized: I can’t hide behind labels anymore. As much as I honor my roles as a trauma therapist, somatic educator, and yoga teacher, these labels don’t fully encompass the depth of the work I’m here to share. The wisdom I carry is beyond any certification or method—it is embodied, raw, and real.
This is what I want you to hear today:
Your medicine is needed. Your soul’s work is needed. We don’t need more "how-to" content or five-step formulas. We need your voice. We need you to show up as your authentic self, to share what’s deeply important to you, and to speak your truth, even if it’s uncomfortable or misunderstood.
We need you to address the things no one else is talking about. Your voice—the one that’s traveled through the darkest of nights and emerged stronger, wiser, and more resilient—is what the world is waiting for.
But here’s the challenge:
You’ve learned to conform. As children, we were taught that our authentic selves were too much, that our truth was not enough. So, we learned to people-please. We learned to hide our wildness, our sensitivity, and our magic. We were taught that success meant performing, fitting in, and following the rules.
And now, at a crossroads, you’re faced with a decision: share your truth and risk rejection, or retreat back into the safe but limiting system?
What if you didn’t have to choose?
The truth is, it’s not about the system—it’s about breaking free from the patterns of self-doubt and people-pleasing that keep you from sharing your deepest gifts. It’s about giving love and compassion to your protective mechanisms so you can step into your authentic soul mission.
And this is where I come in.
I’m opening up a new 1:1 format - The Initiation for women who are ready to step into their medicine. Women who are ready to let their unique voice be heard and be paid well for their work. If you’re ready to rise above self-doubt, fear of rejection, and the need for perfection, I’d love to support you in sharing your powerful gifts with the world.
The world needs your medicine.
